SH-RD Professional Salon Haircare officially landed in Colombia this July, signaling a significant new milestone for our brand in the Central and South American markets! We made our debut at Expobelleza Medellín, a major annual trade show for the beauty and aesthetics industry, held in Medellín, Colombia's second-largest city. This event attracted numerous professionals, entrepreneurs, and haircare specialists, and it's recognized as one of the largest beauty and hair exhibitions in Central and South America.

This year's Expobelleza Medellín was co-hosted with Brazil as a partner country, bringing together 490 exhibitors from various sectors. This diverse representation underscored the vibrant growth of Colombia's beauty industry.
For SH-RD, this exhibition was an incredible platform for networking. We had the invaluable opportunity to meet face-to-face with local companies involved in importing and distributing beauty and hair/skin care products, as well as professional hairstylists and salon owners. These interactions provided us with rich and insightful market intelligence.

Professional Product Showcase & Scalp Analysis Experience

At the exhibition, Shaanhonq focused on our professional haircare brand, SH-RD, showcasing our full range of hair cleansing, treatment, and scalp care products. We also featured advanced scalp analysis technology, offering on-site scalp diagnostics and explanations to visitors. Many attendees were seeing their scalp conditions for the very first time through the instrument, and they were truly surprised by what they saw! Notably, about 90% of Colombians have oily scalps. Addressing this common concern, we recommended and provided samples of our oil-control scalp care products, including SH-RD Tea Tree, Sage, and Thyme lines, allowing guests to experience SH-RD's professional solutions firsthand based on their individual scalp conditions.
